    Simulating trades and ONE

Absolutely! The two are not connected ie, you can use ONE without placing the orders in TOS or following them in TOS. Even if you are using TOS for data (if ONE still does that - I haven't used ONE for a while)

    Few thoughts

Great thoughts Marcas. I missed the RT, but I have worked with JL in the past. He is an excellent educator, and has broad and deep knowledge that we can learn from in options trading. I think there is a time and place for BT. It will help one to understand how to apply and follow the trade...

Wings needed Wide these days ?

Sorry I meant about two IWM 80 delta calls (about 16 positive RUT delta), to offset the BF's -14 delta. Another criteria sometimes used for the long call is, buy no more than $1.00 extrinsic value since that is what wastes away to zero by expiration. And sometimes we would buy less DTE long...

Wings needed Wide these days ?

I agree with Status1 reply. You have much too much positive delta (+66). The graph should not be tilted like it is. You have to adjust the lot size, wing width or both but in a traditional M3 the position delta on open is pretty close to zero. In a high volatility environment this will happen...

    Tail Hedging in 2020

Hi Brad! Great question, although I can only make a general observation without specifics. The shorter the timeframe to expiration, the less effective a teeny will be or to say another way, the larger the point drop will have to be for it to pay off. And, a teeny will only give you some...

Rough cut of TOS SCAN sorted by Extrinsic % of underlying

This is the most current code. Easy to modify the last line of the last one, that allows us to sort/qualify above to do weighting, like this: plot Metric=if Pass then ExtPercent * .7 + ITMPercent * .3 else -1; But, in my testing, it doesnt make a material difference and I think both are...

VERY Important Video to Watch For Options Traders!

Wow. It is my understanding also that ITM options are automatically exercised when they expire. But I guess, when exactly is that and what does the stock do by that time in after hours trading. It sounds like the OCC's decision whether to automatically exercise (the long 409 puts) is made maybe...
