Just keep in mind that most brokers will then treat you as a professional trader. That comes with monthly data fees and those can add up depending on what you are trading.

I thought this was a very informative video about a potential major issue when letting OTM options expire worthless. I typically always close out positions before expiration, but this was a very good reminder on why it can be very risky to try to hold onto short options through expiration.
