"when Schwab implements the changes for the calendars" They are not going to implement any changes. I Have 2 C.Schwab accounts and the Calendars trades are considered just like TD. Trade list is there...the single on the 23oct are there to add the closed trades of expired dates

cose your short leg going against you will not be covered by the long if dte is too far away theta is just a factor...but you will not have a long "protection"
