keeping IBKR in sync with ONE

How best can I keep my IBKR trades in sync with ONE?.

My IBKR Risk Navigator graphs look off as compared to the ONE graphs.

Thanks

First question why use IBKR Risk navigator, its clunky & very user unfriendly & it doesn't track closed trades which is the main reason why it won't match ONE if you have a mix of open & closed transactions that you want to track. If its a very simple option trade like buying a call or a put, it will basically reflect whats in ONE, but anything slightly complicated you will struggle. IB have simply not invested in this tool. Been with them for over 10yrs & the tool has not changed since it was introduced probably 15yrs ago. I think you will find it hard to find any option trader who uses it to track their positions like you can do with ONE, TOS, Optionvue, etc.

As an FYI - most platforms calculate their own greeks and as such they will very seldom agree with each other, the key is to decide which one you want to work with and then base your decisions on that specifically.

i dont use risk navigator.. as you said , its clunky. when i open trades in ONE and transmit them to IBKR, firstly the fills are different which means my P/L in ONE and IBKR are different.. so i started waitnig to get filled in IBKR first then tried copying the prices into ONE to see if i could get close to what was in IBKR ..a bit manual but i wonder if anyone has any other efficient way to do it..thanks

When I trade my IBKR account with ONE, I will have it set up to transmit the order directly through IBKR. Sometimes I'll need to work the order for a fill, but once that fill occurs, I switch back to ONE, F5 to Commit the loaded trade, and I enter the fill price for the combo. That keeps them in sync for the most part. Later when things quiet down, I will get the leg prices and correct those through the Execution Log in ONE.

It probably doesn't matter a great deal, but I think the Greeks are being calculated in sync with incoming ticks inside of ONE. Different fill pricing on each leg will offset in your first trade of the campaign, but as you make adjustments, especially a longer trade with many adjustments, that pricing difference could cause the Greeks to be off slightly with moneyness as one leg or another gets closer or farther away from the money.

If you have a lot of trades, this can be very manual and time consuming. Not to mention, prone to error. Another approach is to download your executions, or copy/paste, and import those into ONE. The Importer has a feature whereby you can group trades or assign each leg to your Trade ID in ONE.
