I just passed my 3rd Performance Account (PA) today. I had one new Evaluation account but I just added 16 more accounts. This is a great time to plus up the number of accounts you have!

90% off is infrequent and this is the best price I have ever seen at APEX. The normal discount is 71% with frequent promotions of 80% off. This is the best price you'll ever see at APEX. You may have to wait months before APEX will have another 90% off sale.

there is another special: 250 Account for $16,70 first month then 33,40
i just ordered it :)

So why does one need this account to trade futures?
The big reasons are:
  1. You don't risk any of your own capital
  2. Being able to trade 20 accounts gives you incredible leverage.
  3. Trading one account that is copied to 19 other accounts is mentally much easier to handle. You are only trading 1 account. For me, that is 1 (or possibly 2) contracts on NQ. I don't see the other 19 accounts while I have the trade on.

Tom, I just got Apex/Rithmic using your code. Thank you.
I noticed that sometimes the prices on the NT dom are very different from the Active trader on TOS. TOS seems delayed (I set it up with 0 delay).
Did anyone notice the same?

Hi Adrian! Many thanks!
I haven't noticed any delays with the NT prices. What connection are you using?

I am using Rithmic. See attached. This took place a few times on Friday morning.

Tom, when you get approved for an account, are you actually trading in the futures market (CME) or in their internal systems?

I'd keep an eye on it. If it's persistent, I would ask APEX about it. I don't see any delays with my connection

Hi Adrian. APEX says they start PA accounts out as sim accounts and once you demonstrate to them that you aren't going to blow the account, then they switch you to a funded account. As far as you are concerned, it is a live, funded account immediately. APEX will pay you if you get the PA account past the starting balance + trailing drawdown + $100. It behaves exactly like a funded account from the first day of the PA account. When APEX makes the transition is behind the scenes...it doesn't matter to you.

Here is a helpful article about it from APEX

TOS often seems delayed even with no delay set. Apex/Rithmic feels faster—has anyone else experienced this?

I have ToS, Rithmic, and CQG feeds running simultaneously, and all are generally in lock-step with each other.

Might the slowness in ToS be a memory or local processing issue? You can check memory allocation from the Setup icon on the ToS login screen.
