Entering trades in ONE from startup date in the past

Hi,
I have been using ONE for only a few weeks and was wondering if I could get some advice on the steps to entering a trade that began so a week or so ago. Do I first have to disable the live button. and then put in the startup date from the time/date button up on top?1694807400073.pngand then move the option date to the expiry date and enter the information in the appropriate option chain?1694807467422.png
I can then save it and enter in the commissions and price fill from my acct statement in TOS.
Appreciated any feedback. I watched all the support videos that ONE gave but these issues weren't discussed.

You should not have to disable the live button since as soon as you enter new date it is no longer live After you enter the trade for that date you can click on the live button to see how the trade is doing now

Thank you.
So the sequence is to first select the stock/index from the pull down menu on the upper left. Then use the date/time ribbon above and select the trade
startup date. So then do I advance to the expiry dates on the the option chains view, enter the strikes? Press enter which moves the strikes from model to position.
Name the trade, select the account, and price.

Not sure how you constructed the bear trap but there seems to be a 12 SEP 402 trade that looks like it got mixed in there and that's the one that it says it's expired

The 402 was a naked put that was combined with the higher delta put debit spread. Part of the same trade. However, I uninstalled the beta version and starting using the older version of ONE and didn't have an issue with entering the trade.

But was that 402 for 12 SEP expiration ?

I found a basic ONE software demonstration that may help you or other new users
You can skip to around 18 min in the video where a trade is set up and entered

I was looking at my /6a trade in ONE and comparing it in Thinkorswim. The p/l open say $600 in TOS and over $2100 in ONE. I haven't done any other trades with this 1694900919692.pngunderlying. Any thoughts?1694900950588.png

I don't think TOS is optimized for futures There are all kinds of bugs that I find
This /6A for example is not even showing the p/l as you move the cursor left to right as it does in any other underlying
I am showing $799 at the moment with your trade prices Not sure about ONE as I don't have it anymore

One thing to keep in mind is that the p/l shown on TOS is not always the real p/l they use something called SIM price
If you left click on the p/l in the price slice you will see a column that says Sim price so that's what they use for p/l and that can differ a lot sometimes on futures from the mark price
I usually have to simulate a closing order just to see the real mark p/l price

Thanks.
I want to keep things simple at this point and once I close these positions I plan to concentrate on doing the majority of my trades with spx and xsp. Mainly 112's and short puts. I like the idea of xsp because it's 1/10 of the price of spx so my bp will be less giving me the opportunity to put on multiple legs for each trade for the purpose of hedging (selling some of the naked puts or adding a different pds location if needed). The only thing the concerns me is that the liquidity and bid ask prices are not as good as spx.

You are right about the liquidity in XSP but at least you can do penny increments instead of 5 cent increments in SPX so that helps a bit
Did you have good success with the 112's ?
I did a 111 in IWM and while it went against me I turned it into a covered call so it worked out in the end but I only did 1 lot so I have enough cash to cover it so I don't have to cash settle it for a loss and liquidity is a bit better than XSP and also the underlying is lower Later on I figured if I can do a covered call I might as well do just a naked put It's not a lot of money but it keeps me in the game

I am fairly new to 112 trades but I like their setup. Here is a video of one of my mentors talking about adjustments with the 112.

Thanks I will take a look at it

For the 111 I found the Tom King videos looked pretty good but he is doing it with futures and he is doing it with a much larger account so that's not doable with smaller accounts but I liked the layering concept Also he is doing close to 90 DTE so that would be like watching grass grow in a small account

You can apply the same trade concept to xsp. He has multiple 112s that are staggered so there is activity every week.
