Consensus Outlook
After raising its policy target by a quarter point in March, the Fed is expected, in an unanimous vote by Econoday's panel, to upshift to a half point hike at its May meeting. This would lift the federal funds target range to 0.75 to 1.0 percent with an implied specific target of 0.875 percent.
