Futures Broker-Platform Pair

Hi there, long time no see.

I'm on a lookup for futures broker.
After reviewing few, I've almost decided for AMP-TradinView pair. Not optimal but the best I could find at the moment for my needs.

If you know this stuff:
Do I have to pay data feed fees with this setup (I know AMP will cover TV costs - not sure about data).
Ofc, I may, and will contact AMP directly but maybe someone can share experience trading with them.

I'm also open for any suggestions on the subject.
I'd like to have smth least expensive for practicing.

Thank you, Dave. I did call AMP and talked about details. As you said I pay for data. Luckily in my case it should be a small fee as I don't need L2 for now.
Do you have opinion about AMP itself?
They have good offer re trading platforms, unfortunately top rank ones require Win as OS - i did not check them all - and this is no go for me. TradingView should be fine, although I heard voices, not confirmed, that it tend to lag in fast markets.
 
I like AMP Futures a lot. My deposits and withdrawals are easy and quick. Also, starting or stopping those feeds are easy to do, and I do it all online.

As far as speed and any lag, that would be dependent on the data feed that you select. They have several options. I use CQG and I think they offer Rithmic and TT as other options. My CQG has been fine for scalping in fast markets (ES and NQ for me). I've noticed my Rithmic feeds do sometimes lag on my other software via some prop firms I'm trading with. Those aren't with AMP, but they are Rithmic connections, so that lag you've heard others mention may be more about the Rithmic data servers and not about AMP.

Not running on Win OS can be limiting for sure. I've run a few desktop software trading platforms via Wine, but I'm always thinking I'm just one click away from a glitch or freeze of some sort. That's definitely uncomfortable when trading. I have a fairly powerful Mini PC that I run exclusively for my trading software and feeds. It's dedicated and Cat 6-connected to my router and switch. That gives me a rock-solid connection and the ability to RDP from my laptop or other workstation which can be running any OS I like. I do like to play around with different Linux distros. I know some Apple users who do the same with a similar setup.
 
Thanks again for detailed answer. I'm just starting with daytrading and am busy with some other stuff but when ready to go life, or sim trading, I will start with AMP.

I plan to go with CQG. I heard people do have issues with Rhytmic. I may look deeper into this later - for mow CQG will do just fine.
The lag I mentioned (hear-say) was related to TV - I was scanning what different platforms offer, before even deciding about what I need, and was not paying attention if those events were related to TX itself or Rhytmic.

Re OS. Luckily TV has linux packages, and I don't think I need much more than TV (at least for now). I was considering running Win on separate box, but I had to be very desperate to take this path. I would try KVM rather, which I use anyway. But with separate Win box it is easier, and cleaner, at least for me, to securely separate that from the rest of LAN. As said I expect that TV, after I tweak it to my needs, should do.

Re prop firms - this OS issue may be more challenging there but I can always trade longer time frames and do charting on separate platform. I try on my own first.
