Here is a full Earnings Calendar trade in META that I had to battle from loser to profit

I just wanted to clarify something about TOS that you keep repeating maybe because you want to promote the OTA or you are not aware of the TOS features or some other reason making it seem like it's impossible to track closed trades on TOS

While it is true that TOS does not keep track of the closed trades. It can be done using simulated trades so when you close a trade if you click on the closed trade and than analyze trade it will make a copy of the trade as a simulated trade and it will keep track of the trade perfectly

Yes Status - it can be done within reason and I have actually done a couple of sessions explaining HOW to do it. But there are some challenges with it and it gets very complex when you have multiple trades open in the same symbol like SPX and it gets even more complex if any of those trades are calendars.

I have actually met with some higher-ups (virtually) at TOS and I shared the video below asking them if they might allow users to assign simulated trades to groups. It seems like it would/should be an easy thing for them to implement - but of course, they are up to their eyeballs in the Schwab integration at this point - so we will have to wait and see if this ever sees the light of day.

If you have an alternate way to do this (different from what I show in my video) that I have missed, please let me know.

Here is the video I shared with the people at TOS: https://www.loom.com/share/f5ee0237430d4d46b134de7efd79f719

I agree with multiple different trades it is not so easy but it can still be done and you are correct that you cannot add the closed trades to your grouped trades
For different underlying you can still use the simulated trades to track each one
For different trades with the same underlying you have 2 options
1 you keep them all as simulated trades and just check and uncheck whichever trade you want to look at
2 you export each one as a simulated trade and than import it when you want to look at it

I use option 1 most of the time to track trades made outside of TOS
For long campaigns like covered calls you could probably use option 2 as you may not need to look at it as often unless there is a big move in the underlying

I truly do appreciate the thoughts and you sharing these as they may well suit other traders' needs - for me, it is all about having a dashboard like this that I can quickly glance at throughout the day while I am working on other things. The fact that Option Traders Assistant allows me to open this on any browser on my phone or iPad only improves the situation for me:

I understand that and it makes it more convenient for you to use OTA with multiple underlying and strategies I just have an objection when you say in the video the TOS does not keep track of closed trade and no platform does It may not be as convenient as OTA but TOS does keep track of closed trades unlike other brokerage platforms making it sound like TOS is a bad platform and there is no difference between TOS and any other platform

You are correct on that point and I do not think TOS is a bad platform at all. In fact, I consolidated 5+ accounts and all family accounts to TOS years ago from multiple other brokers because of how good they are. My neighbor (and his son whom I used to trade with) is fairly high up the food chain at TOS as well. I will be sure to clarify my statements a bit going forward.
