My crystal ball was active today

Some time ago Wayne shared info from his crystal ball (chart lines, or what ever it was) and issued dire warning for long stock holders.
It did not pan out and we may be looking for new info about what stocks will do.

So, I was doing some house cleaning and found my version of crystal.
Actually I can not tell exactly what version it is bc once I've thrown it off the roof and the part with version number chipped off but.. it is what it is.
So here it is.
We are going down. Big time. (Maybe I've should just copy Wayne's post with a new date...)
Just don;t know when... kinda. It can be tonight or in few (2-3) months.

This is serious prediction.
Treat it as any other prediction.

I do not have a crystal ball - that is I do but want to keep it secret.
All I wanted to say is that I think that we are going down. Big time. In few months timeframe (or earlier).
It's just an opinion.

Well...
I was wrong.
I was wrong looking at that crystal ball again.
I saw at Gaza conflict developing and expected this to 'escalate quickly' causing some panic on the markets even if only for the reason that traders are confused. Didn't happen.
Some up move was in the cards ofc, but not what we experienced.
It is almost 2nd month since prediction was given and even if we have big drop soon, I can't claim that what crystal ball was telling me materialized. I was wrong.

Back then I positioned myself (cautiously) for big downside and after we jumped initially I added some short positions on call side.
I lost money on SPX.
Oh, well... not the first time...

I gave this rounded device another toss from a rooftop.

Not all is bad. Precious metals had huge run-up, earlier than expected, so I was compensated for loses on SPX.
Now I'm flat on SPX and short, well not short but well hedged on PMs. We'll see how it plays out.
Hope you did better than I.

I'm looking at SPX and... (I don't know know how it can be) but I'm med-term net bluish (with possible shallow dip on short term).
Does this mean it's time to go short? Dunno, I didn't picked up the ball (yet).
I lean to playing by ear...
