ONE in Mac

check archives of this forum. Some time ago there was long discussion about ONE on Mac.
My advice is still the same - if you have to use ONE buy separate device, miniPC for example or used office computer ( I forgot how they should be properly referred to ). Those are cheap, for bit over $100 you can get decent rig much exceeding ONE requirements. With used one you typically have Windows included (legit). Then you can use some desktop sharing app - plenty of them available - and just open ONE in a window on your Mac or as separate Workspace or however you like.
I'm still of opinion that it is better to learn to operate without ONE. I'm convinced about that but this is rather personal than researched. Don't.just follow any opinion and do your own thinking.

I had the same issue with ONE, as it does not run on a Mac. I was contemplating buying parallels, but after reading several articles on the different options to run Windows on a Mac, I opted for Bootcamp. Bootcamp is already in Mac and uses about 140 GB of Hard Disk space, which will be partitioned for Windows. The best thing about it is that you can download an ISO copy of Windows for free and you can use it FREE (without activating Windows). I did it a few days ago and worked flawlessly. So far, so good.

Just recently switched from PC to MAC. I also just started using ONE.
Initially had difficulty running ONE on MAC via Parallels; however, finally got it to work.
I have MAC w/ M2 processor.
I also ran into several free options other than Parallels.

The keys to Parallels are:
- Use the ARM version of Windows. (I am using Win 11 Pro)
- Install the 32bit software (I am using the Beta version 2.0.78 just to try it)
- Go into the ONE properties/Compatibility
- Everything is unchecked in this window
- Near the bottom, in the "Windows on ARM" section, select "Change emulation settings"
- Leave all as default except, under "Emulation settings", select "Disable hybrid execution mode (x86 apps only)
- Also, for live data, you must install and run TOS in Windows as well.
