ONE real-time order placement

Hi Fellow Traders,

I wanted to streamline the day-to-day order placement via ONE. I did research online and on ONE site but no good documentation I could find. Could any of you suggest how I can achieve the following?

1. I want to place multi-leg positions directly from ONE. I see that it is supported with Tradier in ONE but when it comes to TOS and IB I am not seeing any feature to do the same. can anyone confirm whether it is possible to place a trade via ONE for TOS and IB without manual copy and pasting?
2. Secondly, is there any way by which we can keep track of or sync open positions from TOS or IB in ONE platform? I heard you need to import transactions from TOS or IB. Is this like every time you put adjustment trade you go and import the entire history of transactions for that complex multi-leg position (A14) into ONE? Is there any video on this?

Not without pasting You can send the order to TOS but you still have to paste the order into TOS
You may want to try out OTA That way you can track your order too but that is separate from ONE

My trades are always synchronized with Interactive Brokers (IB). Here's my workflow:

1. When I commit a trade in ONE, I opt for "Send without save" from the lower left “Interactive Brokers” menu instead of clicking "Save." This requires TWS to be open and properly configured.
2. I navigate to the TWS order tab, where I can view my pending order. I make any necessary adjustments to the limit price and then proceed to send the order to the market. I gradually increase the order limit until the trade gets executed, all within the TWS platform.
3. Once the order is executed in TWS, I promptly access the import wizard in ONE. I select "Interactive Broker API" as the format and make adjustments to other relevant fields.
4. Subsequently, I identify the specific rows corresponding to the executed trades and associate them with either a new trade or an existing trade for adjustments.

This process is straightforward and efficient, especially once you become accustomed to it.

It is good to know that ONE has a direct send feature for IB and then with your process, I can just keep piling up executed orders to existing Trade in ONE until ONE comes with better syncing capabilities. Thanks once again. @status1 what is OTA ?

Once you get to a point with ONE/IBKR that you trust your orders, you can uncheck the "Confirm" setting in TWS. That way, when you click "Send without Save" in the Commit dialogue box in ONE, your order goes immediately to TWS and posts into the market. Make sure of your Mid-pricing, and nickel down or up in the ONE order and send. I really like the feature.
