P/L is off on /CL ?

Originally I was asking about the /ES T+0 line being off but I found out later on that it was because I did not use the exact expiration /ESZ23 and I was using /ES so the T+0 line did not match the price slice P/L

Now I find a different problem with /CL where the T+0 line matches the P/L on the price slice but they are both way off
I set the correct expiration so that is not the problem anymore
I also have it set to hide the positions I have it set for today's date and single symbol
I was filled at 4.73 and you can see the offsetting closing simulated trade is at 4.71 which would be $20 if I close it, but for some reason the T+0 line and the price slice shows a gain of $87 so I am not sure what is causing that

Anyone else have this problem ?

This seems to happen only on futures for some reason
I have an IC on IWM and the closing P/L is only off by a few pennies from the price shown on the price slice

TD is trying to tell me that this extra $70 comes from the p/l day that I closed on /CLQ23 which doesn't make sense as the current trade is in a different expiration
That's like saying you got some extra profit on MSFT that you closed and shows up on a new trade on AAPL

After doing some experiments with different strikes ATM and further out and different expiration it seems to make a difference as to how much gain or loss is showing up on the analyze tab in addition to the open trade so in order to get the real p/l I have to simulate a closing trade

Apparently that was the case although it took until after the holiday to take the gain off from Jun 30 so that's 5 calendar days after the trade was closed still not clear why it was affecting the farther out expiration than the closer one
At least now it's much closer to what the T+0 line is showing It's only a few dollars difference probably due to the bid/ ask spread jumping around

The p/l still did not look right so I contacted the live support chat in TOS and they determined that this price is coming from a sim price in the analyze tab which you can find by clicking on the open p/l in the price slice
It looks like there is a much bigger difference in the futures than the equity or indexes between the analyze tab open p/l and the real p/l
Unfortunately there is no fix for this so I have to keep using a simulated closing trade to find out the real p/l
The good thing is that Tom's spreadsheet is using the mark so that is much closer to reality than the analyze tab

So when you trade futures on TOS keep in mind that the p/l that you see on the analyze tab is not real
