In January SPX dropped more than 12 %
What happened to my Schwalben ?
here the results:
6 Trades had been running
planned capital per trade: 3,600.:
Exits Jan21:
Jan 3f +17,31%
Jan EoM -6,42 %
Exits Jan 24:
Feb 3F +5,17 %
Feb EoM +1,44%
Mar 3F +5,94%
one trade still open, Mar EoM, in a drawdown, already protected
Summary: 5 Trades (4 winner 1 loss) 4,2 % on planned capital (Difference to old planned capital, which was 4k)
Some trades had been closed during the day to profit from high vola. That was unusual.

I think I remember you saying during one of your recent presentations that you don't trade the Schwalbe strategy when the SPX is below its 50-day Simple Moving Average. Am I remembering correctly?

Hello Charles
I don´t use the 50 SMA. I use my levels. I can´t remember to mention i use the 50 SMA

It is a good moment to start Schwalben now? No a clear bias.

yes because you missed the big drop :)
I will enter a new trade when we are above a certain level. At the moment only one Schwalbe is running.
I already cancelled one Schwalbe entry. Don´t have to be in the market when risk is too high.
 
Ignatz, The Schwalbe Trade looked really interesting when you discussed it recently in Trading Group 1. I plan on signing up to the Alert Service in the near future to learn the trade.
 
no official trade in Feb. still waiting for crossing adjustmentline, which will go deeper step by step.
