the next Schwalbe will expire Friday next week but is already completely safe. This is th 15th trade in a row without a loss and even the 16th trade end of month is only 2 steps away from being completely safe. Since the new version (12 trades) i have an average of 25 % profit per trade in 3 months.

Well done Igi. What is the average return on the account being traded per trade?

as predicted the trade closed again with a nice profit, about $907 for one tranche SPX in 3 months, planned capital was 4k, lowest close during the trade was at -472.
the next trade which will expire July EoM is nearly safe, 2 -3 steps away from being completely safe, profit will be slightly higher at around 960.
This will be then the 16th trade in a row as a winner since march 2020. Average winner above 8 % per month.
I start a new trade on monday. Yeah.

Nice returns! Does this use limited risk entrys? (nothing naked and everything has wings to limit risk)

Hi Adam,

Yes. It's suitable for a retirement account. It's a combination of vertical spreads and a back ratio near the end of the trade to help protect the portfolio.

The initial short strike is -2.5% below the market when it starts so the trade still does ok with small sell offs. There was a period of I think two years where the Schwalbe was completely flat around 2000-2002 time frame. The accounts I'm trading are planning to use the Schwalbe most of the time and when the Schwalbe is out of the market, transition to the Sleep Well Portfolio which does ok even in bear markets since it gets into non-U.S. equity ETFs.

hi Adam. i only trade with limited risk and reduce it to the end of the trade. In case of a huge drawdown i stop the trade like Feb 2020. I got out with a loss, not bigger than the profit i made in the trade (Sept 19 to Dec 19) before. I do premium collecting and try to stay outside of the battle zone ATM. that´s why i enter my verticals below current price.

hi Daniel there are defined levels when i will NOT enter a new trade. But of course the current trades already got stopped out way before reaching these levels. Some of the stopped out trades are even a winner because risk reductions move t+0 line ABOVE zero and higher volatility is not an enemy to my trade, it even helps reducing loss or moves t+0 line higher in profits.

i always invest a part of my potential profit for permanent risk reductions during the trade

Isn't that kind of close to the ATM ? That is less than 1 SD and only about 130 points below
SPX can easily move that much in one week It just moved 40 points on Friday

I made my analysis (much more than 20 Years) and it´s ok. For bad scenarios i have my adjustments and risk reductions etc.
