SPX Strikes vs points

I thought strikes and points on the SPX were synonymous. Can anyone explain the meaning here.

I thought strikes and points on the SPX were synonymous. Can anyone explain the meaning here.

Each strike is 5 points. SPX does not trade options in single point strikes. Only 4300, 4305, 4310 etc. If you move far enough out of the money, it can be 10 point and even 25 point strikes only.
