TastyTrade new web platform

Did anyone started using the new redesigned web platform ?
I did not even know there was one since I did not get any email alert about it
I just found out about it when I was having an error rolling a /ZB option and they tell me that maybe it's a problem with the platform and I should try the new web platform
This is the link I got my.tastytrade.com if anyone want's to check it out but you have to place the link in the address bar otherwise Google is not going to find it using the search bar

I looked at it and it looks much better than the old one

I found one feature that may be interesting to some
You can download OHLC and volume 1MIN data daily which I don't think the old one had or at least I did not find it
It also has a lot of studies and can edit studies but it's different than TOS so another new script to learn (dxScript)
 
I asked about the new web platform and this was the answer

"The new website is live and in production. We have not announced it to the entire client base yet but it is available for use. All that I can say is that the old web platform is currently in maintenance mode and it is in the best interest of our clients who are using the old platform to start using the new platform. An email will be forthcoming in the next few weeks letting everyone know about the new platform."

For some reason the error I was having on the old platform is not happening on the new platform so I might as well start using it
 
Hey, thanks for mentioning it. I just checked and the new web platform looks really neat. Even the charting is superb. In a nutshell it is fantastic that you don't even need to install anything anymore as it runs in the browser (thanks to the react framework this time)
 
I wasn't aware that anything had to be installed in the previous version as it was also a browser version

The difference now is that it's all in one Previously you had to sign into the main website than click on the platform and had to sign in again Later on I just used the link to the platform to sign in directly the only minor inconvenience is that to get the confirmation you had to log into the main website

This new website has it all in one you can trade in the platform and get your confirmation and statements in the same website

Yup, I figured out that it is an all-in-one endeavor. And looks very good and seems to work quite fast. In a way it seems to be an advanced clone of their java based desktop app (that's the one I used the most), and similar to the mobile app version.

I have not used the "old" web based one, but you are right, there was no need to install anything for that either. It was just a bit non-user friendly, so I forgot about that one pretty soon, and thought only the installable desktop / mobile versions exist ;)
