TOS load time in windows 10 ?

I recently moved tos to windows 10 because on windows 7 is no longer working
I just wanted to find out what is the average load time for tos on windows 10 ?

I just timed it today and it took 3 min and 50 seconds which seems like a long time That is just installing the updates and getting to the login screen
I don't remember ever taking so long on windows 7
 
That seems too long. I think I am on Windows 11, but had Windows 10. Regular load time is a few seconds. Occasionally over the weekend it might be slower, but I attribute that to the maintenance they do.
 
Maybe it was something on the weekend but I just checked it now and it is still about 2 minutes
Did you had ssd at the time when it was loading fast on windows 10 ? From what I understand the ssd works faster than a hard drive

Yes. 2 minutes is too long.
 
With Windows 10, if you need live data in excel with lots of sheets, and running any decent software, you definitly need at least 16GB ram and preferably 32GB for it to run fast enough. I have 64GB ram.

Thanks but I am not running any live data in excel This simply loading TOS right after loading windows 10 without loading any other software
It takes about 20 seconds just for the TOS screen to show up and than the rest of the time it's just supposedly installing updates but from what I have seen it looks like it's loading different instances of chromium in the services panel The second time I run it all the chromium instances load at once so I am guessing that's why it runs faster the second time
 
I decided to get a new pc with windows 11 and SSD and now it's way better
Booting to the desktop is just 15 seconds and loading tos is 25seconds
